Allegory, Winner of the Third Place Ribbon at the Torchlight Parade

The Allegory Team feels very proud of our work and of putting a lot of effort into the project. It has been a very challenging road to achieve the realization of our dream. Our goal has been to bring together the community and show the cultural and historic reachness of our beautiful city, inviting the public to learn about it through allegorical sculpture in the form of art sailboats. The City of Benicia awarded its annual grant for Art to the Allegory Project . We are extremely pleased to have received this recognition of our effort. At the same time, this challenges us to take it to the next level in the future and aim for First Place. Thank you, Benicia!!!

En el equipo Allegory nos sentimos muy orgullosos de nuestro trabajo y de haber invertido tanto esfuerzo. Ha sido un camino arduo para lograr la materialización de un sueño. Nuestro propósito ha sido integrar a la comunidad y mostrar la riqueza cultural e histórica de nuestra bella ciudad, alentando al público a conocerla por medio de esculturas alegóricas representadas en veleros de arte. La Ciudad de Benicia otorgó la beca del 2024 al Proyecto Allegory. Hoy podemos estar satisfechos de nuestro trabajo al haber recibido el tercer premio en el concurso de carros alegóricos, el cual nos dió una gran alegría y al mismo tiempo nos compromete aún más, a reforzar nuestro planteamiento y buscar ser los primeros en próximos eventos. ¡Gracias, Benicia!!!
